What is a Real Estate investment Trust (REIT)? 

REITs are companies that own or finance income-producing real estate across a range of property sectors. REITs must meet a number of requirements to qualify as REITs. Most REITs have been traded on major stock exchanges, however, we are reshaping the industry and removing the barriers to entry for all investors with an interest in investing in REITs.

Why a REIT? 

REITs represent investment in commercial real estate, offering many benefits, chiefly being the generation of a continual flow of passive income from rents.

According to the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts (NAREIT), more than 145 million Americans live in households that benefit, REITs from across all categories collectively own more than $3.5 trillion in gross assets throughout the U.S., with stock-exchange listed REITs owning over $2.5 trillion in assets. U.S. listed REITs have an equity market capitalization of more than $1 trillion. We are using REITs to provide everyday working citizens with the opportunity for financial freedom by investing in real estate.  Over 145 million citizens in the U.S. live in households that benefit from ownership of REITs through stocks, 401(k) plans, pension plans, and other investment funds. We are helping to expand that access to unaccredited investors.

REITs are liquid investments that are diversified across a range of real estate properties in a variety of geographic locations. We are currently focusing our portfolio on properties in the Midwest (Illinois and some portions of Indiana and Wisconsin).

To our knowledge, no other organization is providing access to REITs using a convenient online platform like ours, with minimal fees, and the property management component. We do everything in-house and remove the middleman to service our customers directly.

Unlike sole investors of multi-family properties, you wouldn't be responsible for saving a 25% down payment because you would be sharing in that cost, as well as, receiving quarterly dividends for your share of the REIT. Think of it as buying shares of real estate.
